Asset Management

We have varied experience in successfully managing all types of commercial aircraft and engines, from regional to wide-body & turbo-prop to large fan. Magellan is well positioned to release or recover value from impaired assets, and our wide scope of product and industry knowledge reassures our customers and partners. Typical projects achieve returns above forecasts.


4 ex-Alitalia ATR72-212 - Magellan remarketed the aircraft to 3 unique lessors/operators. The program concluded within 30 months from start to finish.

15 CRJs (with provisions for 10 extra) - ongoing & exclusive agreement with Bombardier to disassemble and remarket the airframe parts and engines (both lease and disassemble for parts).

Magellan Aviation Group has developed an industry leading "green-time" engine lease program to help enhance the project returns.




In the early 1980s, Magellan Aviation Group’s management team came up with many innovative leasing concepts. These concepts have created many of today’s leasing structures including short, medium, and long term engine leasing, as well as accessory leasing and exchange agreements.

Operating Leases: Magellan provides operating leases and AOG support for engines and accessories for terms ranging from short term (1 month) to long term (5 years).

Sale & Lease Back: Magellan offers additional liquidity and flexibility to our customers through customized sale and lease back arrangements. Lease terms range from one year to five years.

Pratt & Whitney

Magellan is cooperating with Pratt & Whitney for the dismantlement and resale of large fan engines: PW4090 | PW4077

Consignment & Provisioning

Magellan has signed various GTAs with several operating lessors for the consignment of spares and engines as well as coordinating spare parts provisioning.

Cloud Partners

Magellan entered in a joint venture with Cloud Partners to acquire two 737-700 aircraft, formerly operated by Jet Lite. Both aircraft are being disassembled.
